Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS) currently operates a 57,000 square foot facility that serves as a consolidation point for logistics planning and material consolidation services for multiple programs. The Logistics and Asset Management (LAM) organization is looking for an independent, self-motivated Operations Manager for the Nashua, NH facility. The Nashua Operations Manager will report into the TSS Mission Area Logistics and Asset Management (LAM) Manager and will be responsible for the daily operations of the Nashua facility, providing guidance and leadership to the program and functional support teams to ensure project completion on schedule and within budget. Duties and Responsibilities: The operations manager is responsible for all aspects of the Nashua facility operations and will manage a team that will support program planning, material receiving, stores, material control and fulfillment, kitting, property, packaging, shipping, transportation and freight management. The operations manager will also be responsible for all facility, security, safety, compliance, training and proposal support requirements and will manage multiple cost center budgets in support of the facility. Daily interface and coordination with LAM organizational management, Site Logistics Management, Program Management and Mission Assurance is required and is a key element to the success of the entire operation. The position requires close interface with LAM Program Planners and Site Logistics Leadership to provide resource and capacity planning and recommended logistics & asset management solutions. The individual in this position will represent LAM in meetings, program reviews and Gate reviews when required. This individual will also work closely with LAM organizational management to help develop and deploy functional strategies to drive process efficiency and accuracy throughout the Logistics process while addressing continuous improvement. These strategies must be compliant to Government regulations and in accordance with LAM and Raytheon policies and procedures. The operations manager will provide performance and career development guidance and will foster a highly collaborative team environment while developing and maintaining a high level of morale within their team. Requirements : o 10+ years of applicable experience o Must be US Citizen with current/active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain in a reasonable amount of time. o Demonstrated successful track record of managing, developing and mentoring individuals. o Superior communication and intrapersonal skills, leadership abilities, negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a cross-functional environment o Must have prior experience managing in a logistics environment with personnel management and administration. o Effective ability to determine critical path for large projects and prioritizes actions for alignment with program/customer needs o Collaborative leadership skills and the ability to affect improvement in a cross-functional environment o Thrive and multi-task in a high speed, intense environment that requires quick responses and a high degree of flexibility o Superior critical thinking skills that quantify the impact to functional organizations in terms of quality, cost, and schedule o Must be able to help develop and monitor key performance measurement (metrics) and prepare various Logistics reports in support of internal, government, program and organizational requirements. o Experience and successful execution in supporting, reviewing and approving Proposals and Basis of Estimates (BOE) for logistics and asset management functions in support of program pursuits. Must become BOE developer certified within first 6 months in this role o Responsible for developing strategies to address continuous improvement and organizational best practices, identifying and analyzing logistics process deficiencies and providing solutions to address a variety of complex inventory, warehousing, shipping and scheduling requirements. o Previous experience in managing budgets o Knowledge of government contracts and FAR rules and regulations. o Excellent computer skills are required in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. o Must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance. o Must be willing and able to occasionally travel as needed Desired Skills and Knowledge: o Raytheon Earned Value Management (EVM) Certification o Knowledge of Raytheon's Integrated Product Development System (IPDS) o Knowledge of Property Management in a government contractor environment. o Broad knowledge of Import/Export requirements and hazardous material management. o Knowledge of SAP/PRISM software system o Front Line Leadership training and Six Sigma Specialist o Knowledge of the Automated Logistics Computer System (ALCS) Education Requirements: o Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Supply Management or similar related degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (Bachelor Degree = 8 years of additional applicable experience). 114989
